The Director General of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Brigadier General YD Ahmed, has extended his heartfelt New Year wishes to Corps members and staff, commending their dedication and resilience throughout 2024.
In his message, the DG acknowledged the unprecedented successes recorded during the year, attributing them to the unwavering commitment of Corps members and staff at their various duty posts.
“We are looking ahead with optimism that 2025 will bring even greater achievements as we extend the frontiers of development in critical sectors of our national economy,” he stated.
Brig. Gen. Ahmed urged all stakeholders to intensify efforts in delivering on the Scheme’s mandate of fostering national unity, integration, and development. He reiterated his commitment to engaging relevant stakeholders to enhance facilities and provide opportunities for Corps members under the Skill Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development (SAED) initiative.
He encouraged Corps members to actively participate in these empowerment programs, emphasizing their potential for self-development.
