Deputy Speaker of the Anambra State House of Assembly, Right Honorable Chukwuma Okoye, welcomed members of the Obizi Women Squad to his Amawbia residence today as part of preparations for Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s campaign ahead of the November 8 gubernatorial election. The grassroots mobilization group gathered to discuss strategies for securing strong women’s turnout in support of Soludo’s bid for a second term.

In his remarks, Okoye described the gathering as more than a meeting, calling it a movement focused on shared objectives to ensure Soludo’s victory. He praised women for their pivotal role in community development and expressed confidence that Soludo’s ongoing projects would continue to drive progress across the state.
