Mamelodi Sundowns defender, Olisa Ndah, is a doubt for Nigeria’s 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifying double-header against Libya’s Mediterranean Knights after sustaining an injury during a recent match.
Ndah, who missed Sundowns’ 1-0 victory over Richards Bay on Sunday, was injured in a previous fixture against Polokwane City, where he had to be substituted in the 84th minute. Despite the injury, he was named Man of the Match for his performance.
The former Akwa United player’s fitness is also in question ahead of Sundowns’ upcoming game against Stellenbosch.
Super Eagles interim head coach, Augustine Eguavoen, is expected to announce his squad for the crucial qualifiers against Libya this week. Ndah’s potential absence could be a setback for Nigeria’s defense.
