“One Youth Two Skills” Beneficiaries Rally Support for Soludo, Launch Support Group

Anambra State witnessed a significant mobilization effort as beneficiaries of the “One Youth Two Skills” initiative came together to inaugurate the Solution Youth-Preneur Support Group (SYPSG), rallying behind Governor Soludo’s transformative agenda.

The inauguration ceremony took place at the Government House in Awka, where executive members, predominantly master trainers of the “One Youth Two Skills” Initiative, were sworn in during a workshop themed “Creating Better Business Environment Through Effective Participation In Politics.”

Mr. Patrick Agha Mba, the Commissioner for Youth Development, emphasized the initiative’s role as a tangible testament to Governor Soludo’s commitment to youth empowerment and sustainable development. He highlighted the unprecedented nature of the initiative in both the state and the country, underscoring its positive impact on youth entrepreneurship and economic growth.

The workshop featured insightful lectures aimed at empowering participants to harness opportunities for business growth and sustainability. Mr. Christian Udechukwu, the Commissioner for Industry, urged attendees to leverage their resources effectively and adopt problem-solving mindsets to seize opportunities.

Addressing the importance of political engagement for entrepreneurs, Dr. Alex Obiogbolu’s Special Adviser on Political Matters, represented by Mr. Obiajulu Nwoye, emphasized the symbiotic relationship between politics and governance, encouraging participants to actively participate in political processes.

Prince Raph Ofojebe, the SYPSG State Coordinator, highlighted the initiative’s success stories and outlined the group’s mission to build a robust community-based political structure that aligns with Governor Soludo’s vision for the state. He emphasized the group’s commitment to grassroots mobilization and political consciousness among youth.

The event culminated in the official inauguration of SYPSG, chaired by Mr. Chike Anyaonu, the Managing Director of Anambra State Housing Development Corporation and Chairman of the Board of Trustees. Mr. Anyaonu commended the master trainers and urged them to disseminate the group’s message across their respective local government areas, promising continued support for their endeavors.

Distinguished guests, including Prof. Chinedu Onyeizugbe from Unizik Business School and Engr. Martin Agbili, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Youth Development, graced the occasion, further underscoring the significance of the initiative in Anambra’s socio-economic landscape.
