The Chairman of the Drug Dealers (Ogbo-Ogwu) at Bridge Head Market, Onitsha, Mr. Chukwuleta Ndubuisi, has praised the 21 newly elected local government chairmen and councillors in Anambra State following the recent elections. Speaking on Saturday, Ndubuisi commended the peaceful nature of the polls and called on the elected officials to partner with the state government in realizing Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s vision of making Anambra a liveable homeland.

Expressing confidence in Governor Soludo’s leadership, Mr. Ndubuisi highlighted the governor’s prudent management of the state’s finances, noting that Soludo has managed to steer the state without borrowing. He also called on them to address key issues such as desilting gutters in their communities to prevent flooding, encouraging the chairmen to lead by example in community cleanup efforts.

As a village chairman in Isuofia, Aguata Local Government Area, Ndubuisi shared his personal experience of actively participating in desilting efforts and providing support for efficient waste removal.
