Oraifite Community, Ekwusigo Local Government Area of Anambra state has concluded plans to hold its first ever *cultural symposium* this year which has been scheduled to hold on *Sunday, December 29, 2024* .
This was made known to the press on Sunday *10/11/2024* during the virtual press conference organized by Prince Chinedu *Nsoffor (Ichie Nzedike1 na Oraifite)* , Chairman Oraifite Palace Council, Engr Sir Chris *Ugwumadu (Ichie Igwulube 2* ), Palace Secretary, High Chief Sir Chukwudi *Ufondu* ( *Ichie Odogwu Oraifite)* , Chairman Celebration Committee and High Chief Joseph Eberechukwu *Enwena* ( *Ichie Ikenga Ogirisi Igbo)* , Secretary Celebration Committee, *High Chief OkeNze Azubike Okonkwo* (*Ichie Nzediebube Oraifite*) Chairman Palace Publicity Committee on behalf of Oraifite people where they jointly announced that the maiden edition of *Oraifite Cultural symposium* will be held this December.
They announced that the symposium would feature lectures and discussions on
* *History of Oraifite* .
* *Kola Nut Breaking In Igboland.*
* *Aku Na Uba Ndigbo* .
* *Ndigbo Na Ndi Oraifite* .
* *Unveiling of 2025 Calendar* .
While announcing that the Royal Father Of The Day would be the Traditional Ruler of Oraifite Ancient Kingdom, *His Royal Highness, Igwe Dr Dan Udoji, Anumanu Ezeigbo VIII, Obi Oraifite* informed that the venue would be Oraifite Palace, Ibolo, Unodu, Oraifite at one in the past noon.
They used the opportunity to call on *Oraifite sons and daughters, in-laws, ndi nwadiana, friends,Ndi Ödinana, Palace Chief’s ,Ndi Nze N’Özö,Igbo bu Igbo and well wishers* of the community to *bookmark* the date and plan to attend as the *symposium* promised to delve deep into the cultural fabrics of *Oraifite AncientKingdom* .
