Osun APC Vows to Unseat Governor Adeleke in 2026, Dismisses PDP’s ‘Rule Forever’ Claim

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State has expressed confidence that they will remove Governor Ademola Adeleke from office in the 2026 governorship election. This reaction came after the Osun PDP Chairman, Sunday Bisi, confidently stated that the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) would continue ruling the state due to Governor Adeleke’s achievements.

Bisi praised the PDP government for improving infrastructure, paying salaries and pensions, and addressing long-standing issues, such as the incomplete Gbongan-Akoda road project. He dismissed concerns that Adeleke’s family, particularly from Ede, had monopolized state affairs, instead crediting them with helping liberate Osun.

The APC, through its spokesperson Kola Olabisi, dismissed Bisi’s claims as arrogant and reminded the public of past PDP statements about ruling forever, which ultimately led to their defeat at both the state and national levels. The APC remains confident of winning the 2026 election.
