Pastor Jerry Eze, founder of Streams of Joy International and convener of the popular online prayer platform, New Season Prophetic Prayers and Declarations (NSPPD), has been named Nigeria’s highest YouTube earner. This recognition was made by Playboard, a data curation platform that ranks YouTube channels globally.
Eze’s YouTube channel, which boasts over 2.12 million subscribers and garners over one million views daily, has become the top earner due to its success with YouTube’s Super Chat feature. Super Chat allows viewers to pay to have their messages highlighted during live streams, with Eze earning 70% of the revenue generated.
According to Playboard, Pastor Eze earns more than ₦7 million daily, with his total revenue during a specified period amounting to ₦7.81 billion. His remarkable earnings underscore the significant impact and reach of his online ministry, particularly through his live-streamed content.
