Pentecostal Bishops Praise Governor Soludo’s Governance Strategies

In a recent statement, the Pentecostal Bishops Association of Anambra State (PBAAS) has commended Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s administration for its significant achievements in road construction, education reforms, and improved primary healthcare delivery.

The commendation came following the annual meeting of the Bishops held in Awka. In a communiqué signed by their Executive President, Archbishop Augustine Nwodika, the Bishops highlighted the noticeable reduction in insecurity across Anambra State, attributing it to the governor’s effective and strategic governance.

The Bishops expressed their desire to foster an even stronger relationship with Governor Soludo’s administration than they had with previous governments. They praised the theme of their meeting, “Wind Of Change,” and urged the Pentecostal community to avoid bitterness and division, instead working together to promote the gospel of Jesus Christ.

PBAAS called on citizens to remain law-abiding and contribute positively to societal progress. They also pledged their continued prayers and spiritual support for Governor Soludo and Anambra State.

The Bishops voiced concerns over the rising levels of immorality and social vices among the youth, urging the government to take decisive actions to address these issues. They emphasized the importance of fathers being active in their children’s lives to serve as role models.

Speaking on security, the State Chairman of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, Bishop Moses Ezedebego, criticized the Federal Government for not making sincere efforts to integrate the Igbo community as equal members of the nation. He urged Igbo youths to refrain from violence, warning that it would ultimately harm their communities. Bishop Ezedebego also called on other South East governors to adopt security strategies similar to those of Governor Soludo to attract both local and foreign investments to the region.
