Portable Claims Wizkid and Davido Use Feud for Promotion, Says Their Music Is No Longer Marketable

Controversial singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has stirred up discussions by alleging that top Nigerian artists Wizkid and Davido are using their ongoing feud to remain relevant in the music industry. According to Portable, both artists have resorted to promoting themselves through conflict, claiming their music is no longer commercially successful.

The “Zazu” crooner criticized the use of public beef for attention, urging Wizkid and Davido to stop tearing each other down for promotion. He distanced himself from their feud, stating that he is focused on his own success and does not align with either artist in their social media war.

In a post shared on his Instagram story, Portable wrote: “Don’t use your brother to shine, shine yourself. Una songs no dey market again, na fight una dey use do promotion. Let’s forget fake promotions, I get hit songs. Portable is bigger than them. Who is big is big.”

He added, “Me, I no dey for Davido. Me, I no dey for Wizkid. I dey for myself. That’s why I dey for those who dey for me.”

The feud between Wizkid and Davido escalated earlier in the week, with Wizkid openly criticizing Davido and even attacking his family. Despite Davido’s silence, Wizkid has continued to throw jabs online, further intensifying the dispute.
