Students from public secondary schools in Anambra State who scored above 300 in this year’s Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) are invited to the headquarters of the Post Primary Schools Service Commission (PPSSC) in Awka for a special reward.

Professor Nkechi Ikediugwu, the Chairman of the Commission, made this announcement during a forum held in Ifite-Ogwari, Ayamelum Local Government Area. She explained that the reward aims to motivate Anambra students to excel in their studies, emphasizing that hard work leads to further opportunities.

Professor Ikediugwu also mentioned that schools will be graded based on their performance in the ongoing West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE). She urged principals and teachers to remain diligent in their duties to ensure high standards.

In an effort to further improve educational outcomes, the PPSSC plans to visit public mission schools in Anambra State to identify and learn from their best practices that contribute to examination success.

Additionally, Professor Ikediugwu commended principals whose students scored above 300 in the UTME, encouraging them to submit the names of these high achievers to the PPSSC headquarters in Awka.
