PSG, despite a 3-2 loss to Aston Villa on Tuesday, advanced with a 5-4 aggregate score, having won the first leg 3-1 at home. In a thrilling encounter at Villa Park, PSG initially took a two-goal lead through Achraf Hakimi and Nuno Mendes, but Aston Villa mounted a strong comeback with goals from Youri Tielemans, John McGinn, and Ezri Konsa.
Barcelona, on the other hand, fell 3-1 to Borussia Dortmund in the second leg but progressed with a 5-3 aggregate score.
PSG will now face the winner of the Real Madrid vs Arsenal match, while Barcelona will take on the winner of Inter Milan vs Bayern Munich in the semi-finals.
