Rangers secured a thrilling 1-0 victory over Niger Tornadoes on Sunday, capping off the year with a well-earned three points in Kontagora. Bashir Usman scored the decisive goal in the 33rd minute of the match.

With the win, Rangers climbed to third place on the league table with 31 points. The Flying Antelopes will begin the second half of the season with a home clash against Niger Tornadoes at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, Enugu.
The reigning Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) champions are expected to take a short break before resuming the campaign in the new year.
