Rivers State Governor Relocates House of Assembly Amid Political Crisis

The ongoing political turmoil in Rivers State took a new turn on Friday with Governor Siminalayi Fubara’s issuance of Executive Order 001, mandating the relocation of the House of Assembly to the Auditorium, Admin Block of the Government House in Port Harcourt.

DAILY POST, in its report, disclosed that the gazette, dated December 14th, 2023, referenced the destruction of the Hallowed Chamber of the House of Assembly on October 29th, 2023, as the primary rationale behind the relocation.
