The Governor of Anambra State, Prof. Chukwuma Charles Soludo, participated in the ongoing local government elections today, casting his vote at the Ofuiyi polling unit, 002, Isuofia Ward.
Governor Soludo arrived at the polling station at 11:45 am, accompanied by his aides and security personnel. After casting his ballot, he addressed journalists, expressing his satisfaction with the peaceful nature of the election so far. He praised the electoral officials for their professionalism and preparedness.
The governor emphasized that the election provides an opportunity for his party to gauge its grassroots support and understand the desires of the people. He also lauded the efforts of election observers, civil society organizations, and other stakeholders for their contributions to the process.
