Soludo Commissions 2.89KM Road, Advocates Public-Private Partnerships for Development

Anambra State Governor, Professor Chukwuma Soludo, has reiterated the need for innovative funding solutions to drive infrastructure development across the state.

Speaking at the commissioning of a 2.89-kilometer road built by Chief Bryan Ofoegbu in Ozubulu, Governor Soludo highlighted his administration’s Public-Private-Community-Partnership (PPCP) model as a viable short-term approach. The initiative seeks to harness the resources and strengths of the private sector, communities, and government to improve infrastructure.

The Governor emphasized that 99% of the state’s potential development funds are in private hands, urging residents to embrace the PPCP model. He described the commissioned road as a symbol of what collective effort and collaboration can achieve in fostering development and improving lives.

Chief Bryan Ofoegbu, the benefactor of the project, expressed optimism that the road would greatly benefit the Ozubulu community by improving access and stimulating economic growth.

Community leaders and residents gathered to celebrate the milestone, acknowledging the project’s role in enhancing connectivity and advancing development in the region. Governor Soludo encouraged continued partnerships to achieve sustainable progress across Anambra State.
