Governor Charles Soludo of Anambra State has officially flagged off the construction of the access road to the Second Niger Bridge, representing President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the ceremony. The project, part of Phase 2B, will enhance connectivity between Delta and Anambra States.
The 35-kilometre road will feature seven flyovers and a bridge, with a width ranging from 35 to 46 metres. It will link Atani, Obosi, and Nkpor before terminating in Ogbunike. Governor Soludo described the project as a transformative infrastructure that will boost trade, commerce, and economic activities in the region.
He expressed appreciation to President Tinubu for prioritizing the development and ensuring that the benefits of democracy reach all parts of the country. He also commended Minister of Works, Senator Dave Umahi, for his leadership in executing the initiative.
Governor Soludo called on the people of Anambra to continue supporting President Tinubu’s administration to attract more developmental projects to the state.
