Soludo Receives New GOC of 82 Division, Commends Nigerian Army’s Sacrifices

Amawbia, Anambra State – Governor Chukwuma Soludo has welcomed the newly appointed General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the 82 Division, Nigerian Army, Major General Oluyemi Thomas Olatoye, at the Governor’s Lodge in Amawbia.

During the meeting, Governor Soludo lauded the Nigerian Army for its unwavering commitment to combating insecurity in Anambra State. He acknowledged the sacrifices made by military personnel, some of whom have paid the ultimate price in the line of duty, to ensure the safety of residents.

Expressing his deep appreciation, the governor also extended gratitude to other security agencies working tirelessly to maintain peace and order across the state. He reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to supporting security operations and fostering collaboration with the military.

“May Anambra continue to win!” Governor Soludo declared, emphasizing his optimism for sustained security improvements in the state.
