Governor Chukwuma Soludo has restated his administration’s resolve to deliver key road projects in Anambra State, with a fresh focus on Adili Road in Nnewi.
The governor, who visited the road site, walked through the area and addressed residents, reminding them of the promise he made during the recent Senatorial bye-election campaign that produced Senator-elect Emmanuel Nwachukwu.
He highlighted several roads already completed in Nnewi under his administration, including Bank Road, Igwe Orizu Road, the dual carriageway linking Agulu to Nnewi and Ozubulu, and the road connecting Nkwo Nnewi to Nkwọ Oraifite.
Soludo further pledged to begin work on the Building Material Road, which he said would boost accessibility and economic opportunities in the community.
The governor also thanked the people of Nnewi for supporting the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) in the last election, noting that their votes on Saturday confirmed that the town was no longer in the opposition.
