Governor of Anambra State, Professor Chukwuma Soludo moments ago visited Nibo community, a suburb of Awka city where suspected cultists murdered rival cult members yesterday, Sunday, October 20, 2024.
The governor who visited the scene of the incident later proceeded to Eke Nibo market where he addressed the people. He informed them that he had visited the scene of the incident and used the opportunity to declare war on cultism in the state.
Soludo said, ” there is no hiding place for murderers. Whoever kills by sword shall himself be killed by sword and whoever kills with gun shall be gunned down too. We will fish the perpetrators out.”
Furthermore, he encouraged the people to go about their lawful businesses assuring that the people that carried out the killings shall be brought to book.
