Governor Chukwuma Soludo of Anambra State has welcomed former Orumba North and South Federal Constituency lawmaker, Chief Okwudili Ezenwankwo, back into the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA).
Speaking at a rally in Nanka attended by thousands of supporters, Soludo described APGA as more than a political party, calling it “a religion, a movement, and the home of true progressives in Anambra.” He also commended Nanka wards one and two for their performance in the recent senatorial by-election, which produced Chief Emmanuel Nwachukwu.
The governor noted that APGA won across all 118 wards in Anambra South, and thanked the electorate for their overwhelming support. He further commended President Bola Tinubu, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), and security agencies for ensuring credible elections and providing a level playing field.
National Chairman of APGA, Barrister Sly Ezeokenwa, alongside Chief Nwachukwu, reiterated that Anambra remains APGA stronghold and urged for mass mobilization in support of Soludo’s re-election bid on November 8.
Chief Ezenwankwo praised the governor’s performance across multiple sectors, pledging his firm support. Community leaders, including Rev. Canon Ifeanyichukwu Ezeike and Chief Damian Okeke-Ogene, described Ezenwankwo as a grassroots politician who has long contributed to the party. They also expressed appreciation to Soludo for his development efforts in Nanka.
