The Chief of Staff to Governor Chukwuma Soludo, Mr. Ernest Ezeajughi, has provided detailed insights into the eleven new laws recently signed by Governor Soludo, underscoring their potential to advance the state’s transformation into a livable and prosperous homeland.
Mr. Ezeajughi emphasized that these new laws are designed to tackle various infrastructural and systemic challenges facing Anambra State. He noted that the current administration is committed to upholding the rule of law and procedural integrity, predicting that Anambra will soon be a benchmark for excellence in all economic sectors.
Discussing the Anambra State Electoral Law 2024, Ezeajughi highlighted its role in facilitating free, fair, and transparent local government elections, thereby establishing robust structures for local governance.
He also praised the Anambra State House of Assembly for the swift passage of several other critical laws. These include the Anambra State Touting Prohibition Law 2024, the Secret Cult Prohibition Law 2024, the Health Facilities and Accreditation Agency Law 2024, and the Anambra State Peace Building and Conflict Management Agency Law 2024. According to Ezeajughi, these laws are pivotal in addressing the diverse societal issues confronting the state.
