Mrs. Nonye Soludo, the wife of Anambra State Governor, has congratulated three students from Michael Tansi Memorial Secondary School in Aguleri for their outstanding performance at the National Quiz and Debate Championship. The students emerged as the overall winners in the tournament, which was organized by the United Organization for Education and Sports Development Nigeria and concluded in Enugu State on May 25, 2024.
The victorious students, representing Anambra State, triumphed over participants from various other states, bringing home the prestigious trophy.
During a celebratory meeting with the students at their school, Mrs. Soludo lauded their achievement, commending them for exemplifying Anambra’s standard of excellence and for demonstrating resilience and intelligence at a critical moment. She encouraged the students to maintain their dedication and to seek out further opportunities for national and international recognition.
Mrs. Soludo also promised ongoing support and mentorship to help the students reach their full potential. She emphasized the current administration’s commitment to creating a supportive environment for every child in Anambra to succeed, noting that the state’s strategic focus on educational development is already producing positive results.
“The state government is very intentional in its education development strategies, which have already started yielding fruits,” Mrs. Soludo stated, reaffirming the administration’s dedication to nurturing academic excellence in Anambra.
