Anambra Governor’s wife, Mrs. Nonye Soludo, has expressed her primary desire to support all Anambra women and children, aligning with her husband’s mission to provide the best governance for the state.
Mrs. Soludo articulated this commitment during a meeting with the National Women Leaders of All Soludo Support Groups (ASSG) at the Governor’s Lodge in Amawbia. She emphasized her role as a supportive partner to Governor Chukwuma Soludo, who she affirmed is dedicated to the welfare of Anambra women.
Highlighting the governor’s focus on excellent governance, Mrs. Soludo noted the significant pace of development in Anambra State and Governor Soludo’s determination to establish lasting standards.
She praised the ASSG women for their steadfast support of the administration and encouraged them to continue spreading awareness of the government’s achievements across communities. Mrs. Soludo also urged them to incorporate healthy living education into their activities, helping other women understand the benefits of maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
In her remarks, the National Woman Leader of ASSG, Mrs. Amaka Obi, expressed gratitude to Mrs. Soludo for her unwavering support for Anambra women, acknowledging her role in championing their welfare and ambitions. She lauded Mrs. Soludo’s healthy living crusade, noting its life-saving impact and the passion and humility that distinguish her efforts.
Mrs. Amaka Okafor, the National Woman Leader of Soludo Ladies Movement, commended Mrs. Soludo’s initiatives to combat abuse and violence against women and children. She highlighted the establishment of special magistrate courts for such cases as evidence of the administration’s commitment to protecting women and children in Anambra State.
