Mrs. Nonye Soludo, the wife of Anambra’s governor, emphasized the profound significance of fatherhood, urging everyone to cherish and honor this sacred gift on the occasion of Fathers’ Sunday.
Addressing the community in Awka, Mrs. Soludo underscored the importance of fatherhood, describing it as a privileged vocation that demands dedication and exceptionalism.
Drawing inspiration from the life of Saint Joseph the Worker, Mrs. Soludo highlighted the virtues of service, sacrifice, and dedication exemplified by fathers. She emphasized the importance of companionship, ideal parenting, and diligence in fulfilling the solemn call of fatherhood.
Expressing gratitude for fathers’ sacrifices and courage, Mrs. Soludo called for continuous prayers and support for fathers, recognizing the individual challenges they face and the need for love and encouragement from those around them.
In a heartfelt tribute, Mrs. Soludo extended special prayers to all fathers, including her husband, Professor Chukwuma Soludo, and her father, Chief Chukwuma Ezenwanne.
