Mrs. Nonye Soludo, wife of the Anambra State Governor, has reaffirmed the state government’s commitment to supporting registered children’s homes and orphanages. This announcement was made during a meeting with members of the Association of Registered Community Children’s Homes (ARCCH) at the Governor’s Lodge in Amawbia.
Addressing the ARCCH members, Mrs. Soludo emphasized the government’s vested interest in the welfare of registered homes and assured continuous support for their charitable efforts. She recounted her visits to various homes in December and pledged to continue these visits to ensure comprehensive outreach.
Mrs. Soludo highlighted the special blessings associated with their work, acknowledging the significant sacrifices made by caregivers in service to both God and humanity.
The Chairman of ARCCH, Mrs. Helen Eze, expressed gratitude to Mrs. Soludo for her outreach during a critical time. She noted the positive impact of the governor’s wife’s December visits on both the children and caretakers. Mrs. Eze called for closer collaboration to enhance the operations of these homes, underscoring the importance of prioritizing the best interests of the children.
