Mrs. Nonye Soludo, the wife of the Anambra governor, has announced plans to distribute hybrid seeds to 500 individuals in the state to promote home gardening. This initiative, shared on her official social media today, aims to encourage food sufficiency and healthy living among residents.
Mrs. Soludo stated that she will distribute the hybrid seeds weekly throughout July, reaching 500 households across Anambra and beyond. Participants must demonstrate a genuine interest in home gardening and commit to organic cultivation methods. They must also agree to provide regular visual updates on their garden’s progress until the harvest period.
As the founder of the Healthy Living with Nonye Soludo Initiative, Mrs. Soludo will announce winners on her social media handles and other affiliated platforms every weekend until the end of July. Each winner will be contacted directly, and their seed packages will be delivered to their locations within Anambra State. Additionally, participants can access video lessons from her Healthy Living Exhibition Garden for guidance.
Mrs. Soludo, whose birthday is on July 31, 2024, expressed that seeing the flourishing gardens will be a meaningful celebration for her. She urged recipients to approach the gardening task with dedication and excellence.
