Soludo’s Wife Visits Nteje Rehab Centre, Awka Children’s Home, Donates Essential Items

Anambra State First Lady, Mrs. Nonye Soludo, has reiterated her commitment to enhancing the living conditions at the state-run Rehabilitation Centre in Nteje and the Model Community Children’s Home in Awka.

During her routine visit to both facilities, Mrs. Soludo emphasized her dedication to ensuring these homes are well-maintained and that all residents receive proper healthcare and nutrition.

Touring the facilities, she commended the managers for their diligent care and effective management despite limited resources. She urged them to continuously monitor residents’ health, ensure a balanced diet, and engage the residents in skill-building activities.

Mrs. Soludo reassured the residents of her ongoing commitment to their welfare and development, pledging to maintain regular visits.

Reverend Sisters Lucy Nwachi and Philomena Akuchukwu, caretakers of the facilities, praised Mrs. Soludo’s passionate dedication, noting her consistent support in meeting their needs.

During her visit, Mrs. Soludo interacted with the residents, listening to their personal stories and needs. She also distributed various essential items including drugs, sanitary products, food items, mattresses, and educational materials.

The residents expressed their gratitude, offering prayers for Mrs. Soludo’s continued efforts and support.
