Slogans are catchy phrases that captures a brand’s or a group’s identity, philosophy or mission. Most often, it carries the overall message of that brand or brands core values just in few words. Slogans can simply be seen in form of using humor, emissions or personality to represent or emphasize brands mission.
Just like a brand, leaders also adopt slogans which embodies their vision and mission. The slogan is expected to remind such a leader the purpose for which he or she occupies the leadership position.
Today in Anambra, the Governor of Anambra state, Professor Chukwuma Soludo, CFR, introduced a slogan “SOLUTION IS HERE”- a slogan carefully chosen in line with his Soludo Solution, the people’s manifesto.
Many have argued that Solution is here is truly an embodiment of Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s agenda of a livable and prosperous Anambra state. Like Governor Soludo will always say that Anambra is one state, one people, one agenda.
The question is does “SOLUTION IS HERE” mean anything to Governor Chukwuma Soludo. The answer is yes, Solution is here is truly beyond a slogan because it represents the mission of Governor Chukwuma Soludo in Anambra state.
Governor Chukwuma Soludo will always say that he can’t afford to give excuses why he failed because for every failure, there are dozens of excuses.
All over the country today, online and offline, there are conversations going on about the decline in our values as a people. Most times people apportion blames rather than seeking solutions or solving the existing problems.
People in leadership positions sometimes leave the group or state they are supposed to govern worst than they met it, because they failed to solve the existing problems, rather they create more.
But in Anambra today, the slogan SOLUTION IS HERE has continued to manifest in every place it was said.
Governor Chukwuma Soludo on 18th March 2022, visited Okpoko and told them that Solution is here. Today Okpoko which was the biggest urban slum in Africa is now regarded as new heaven as they now enjoy good roads, quality and affordable healthcare, pipe borne water and electricity.
The same is applicable to all other places that have heard the word solution is here. Road infrastructure, good hospitals, free but quality education, job creation, youth empowerment, pipe borne water, to mention but few.
At Ekwulobia, Governor Chukwuma Soludo visited and promised solution for the gridlock being witnessed there in and out of season, today, the Ekwulobia flyover, modern bus terminal is becoming a reality.
He promised solution to end school’s without teachers and hospitals without doctors, today 8115 teachers and over 1000 health workers has been employed.
With the distribution of over one million palm and coconut seedlings and other cash crops over 500,000 households will be out of poverty in the long run, providing solution to people living below the poverty rate.
Indeed, Governor Chukwuma Soludo is providing solutions to many challenges confronting the state, he is providing leadership every patriotic onye Anambra should be proud of.
An Igbo adage said ” Onye riri elu orji, kpalu ya nku, maka na anaghi ari orji kwa daa”. Therefore, now that Anambra has a man like Governor Chukwuma Soludo, providing solutions to Anambra problems, it’s expected that all hands should be on deck in support of his administration for Anambra to get the best of Soludo.
Today, Nigeria is still celebrating his record in Central Bank of Nigeria, this is the same way Anambra will never forget they had a Governor like Professor Chukwuma Soludo decades after.
Indeed, Anambra will be great again.
