Spain triumphed over England 2-1 to secure the Euro 2024 title on Sunday night. After a goalless first half, La Roja took the lead shortly after the break with Nico Williams finishing a well-executed team move past Jordan Pickford.
England equalized in the 73rd minute when substitute Cole Palmer scored with a powerful shot. However, Mikel Oyarzabal restored Spain’s lead by sliding in to convert Marc Cucurella’s low cross.
This victory marks England’s second consecutive loss in a European Championship final.
