Nigerian striker Gift Monday has extended her stay with Spanish club UD Tenerife, signing a new three-year contract that will keep her at the Canary Islands-based team until 2027.
The 22-year-old forward initially joined UD Tenerife in 2022 from Nigerian club Bayelsa Queens. Since then, she has made 27 league appearances, scoring five goals for the team.
Expressing her excitement about the new deal, Monday shared her ambitions with the club’s official website: “My dream is to help the team, contribute positively to achieve victories and win more games.”
She added, “UD Tenerife has become my second family. I promise to always give my best to the club and make our fans proud.”
