UEFA has appointed Sandro Schärer from Switzerland as the referee for the UEFA Super Cup final between Real Madrid and Atalanta. The match will take place on Wednesday at Warsaw’s Stadion Narodowy, with kick-off scheduled for 8 p.m. Nigerian time.
This will be the second time Schärer officiates a Real Madrid game; his first was during the 2022–23 Champions League group stage when Real Madrid defeated Celtic 3-0. Real Madrid announced the appointment on their official website on Monday.
