Popular Nigerian singer and record producer, Tekno, has refuted claims that he collapsed while performing on stage. Reports circulating on Tuesday suggested that Tekno, who is currently on a music tour, collapsed during a live performance in South Africa.
A viral video showed a singer being carried off stage by several men, fueling speculation that Tekno was the individual in the footage.
However, Tekno took to Instagram to clarify the situation, assuring fans that he is healthy and not even in South Africa.
“Hey guys, I’m hale and hearty and not currently in South Africa. I hope whoever that was in the video is doing well and ok. Thank you, guys. Love you,” Tekno wrote.
