Grammy-winning Nigerian singer Temilade Openiyi, popularly known as Tems, has expressed her admiration for Canadian pop star Justin Bieber. During a recent appearance on the *Jennifer Hudson Show*, Tems described Bieber as “one of the purest souls I have ever met,” highlighting his kindness and support.
Tems also shared the story of how she brought Bieber and Nigerian artist Wizkid to join her Coachella set earlier this year. She revealed that Wizkid was already in town and eagerly agreed to perform with her. To her surprise, Bieber also offered to join her on stage.
“And then on the day of the performance, I got a text from Justin Bieber, he was like, ‘I’m around in case you want to bring me out,’” Tems recalled.
She went on to praise Bieber’s generosity, saying, “He’s so kind and such a supporter. And he came out, the ground was shaking. Everybody was losing their minds. I was a bit startled. Justin, I love you!”
The three artists—Wizkid, Tems, and Justin Bieber—collaborated on the remix of the global hit song *Essence*, further cementing their musical connection.
