The Lord’s Chosen Church Clarifies Viral Testimony, Denies Fabrication Claims

The Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Ministries has addressed the mockery surrounding a viral testimony video, emphasizing that the church does not fabricate testimonies.

Pastor Chidi Louis, Head of Public Relations and Media, responded to the online allegations about a church member’s testimony, which had been widely circulated. He clarified that the viral clip, which appeared to show a member claiming to have disarmed four armed robbers and taken possession of an “AK-27,” was manipulated and out of context.

Pastor Louis explained, “The incident happened in a dream, not in real life. Nigerians should disregard the fake video and refer to our church platform for the complete testimony to understand the context.” He further urged the public not to trust everything posted online, accusing bloggers of intentionally distorting the content to mock the church.

The church’s media department has also labeled the viral clip as fake and urged viewers to visit their official TikTok account for the full version of the testimony, which clearly explains that the woman was recounting a dream.

The controversy arose after the edited video showed a woman describing how she overpowered four robbers and seized a weapon she mistakenly referred to as an “AK-27.” A pastor was seen correcting her, saying it was an “AK-47.”
