Nigerian music sensation, Inetimi Alfred Timaya Odon, popularly known as Timaya, has publicly criticized his social media handler, Bolaji Fadipe, for embroiling him in the ongoing social media feud between Davido and Wizkid.
Expressing his frustration, Timaya chastised Fadipe for disregarding repeated warnings and persisting in involving him in unrelated matters. In a scathing post on social media, Timaya called Fadipe out, labeling him as “a mad man” for tweeting using his handle.
Timaya’s post read: “BOLAJI FADIPE U ARE A MAD MAN FOR TWEETING WITH MY HANDLE. I have warned u severally but u wouldn’t listen. Y’all know I mind my business but this guy doesn’t listen because u work with my team and have access doesn’t mean u should put me on people’s business. I want u to enjoy the fame u want to hide behind. Fool.”
The incident comes amidst heightened tensions between Nigerian music icons Wizkid and Davido, triggered by a recent social media exchange. It began when Wizkid uploaded a video on Monday, seemingly mocking Davido, sparking a flurry of reactions from fans and fellow artists alike.
Davido later responded with a subtle jab at Wizkid, suggesting that the latter’s songs are no longer recognized. The exchange further escalated, drawing reactions from other artists, including Kizz Daniel and Tekno, who also engaged in verbal spats on social media.
