In view of the upcoming climate change summit and tree planting awareness campaign being organized by the management of Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University, Igbariam come July 17, 2024, the Acting Vice Chancellor, Professor Azuka Kate Omenugha, top staff of the institution, Comrade Peter Nwosu and others did a sensitization road show yesterday, July 6, 2024.
In her brief comment during the walk which held in Awka, Prof Omenugha used the opportunity to invite ndi Anambra and beyond to attend the event which according to her will be held in the school premises at Igbariam, Anambra State.
On his part, the Climate Change and Tree Planting Awareness Campaign Chairman, Comrade Peter Nwosu (Peter Nupeng) commended the school management for the innovations they are injecting into the school.
He particularly appreciated the Ag. VC, Prof. Omenugha for her positive actions being taken to reposition and uplift the status of the institution.
