Juliet Chidiebube Uka, a graduate of Chemistry from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Anambra State, has achieved a remarkable score of 324 in the recently concluded 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME). Uka, who was the best-graduating student in the Department of Chemistry at UNIZIK in 2021, graduated with a first-class degree.
Expressing her aspirations, Uka revealed her ambition to pursue Medicine in order to fulfill her dream of becoming a medical doctor. Despite already holding a degree in Chemistry, she is determined to pursue her passion for medicine.
Uka’s elder brother, Obiora Uka, praised her determination and resilience, highlighting her unwavering commitment to her goal of becoming a doctor. He emphasized her outstanding performance and dedication, noting that she wrote the UTME again in 2024 and scored an impressive aggregate of 324.
The Uka family expressed optimism that Juliet will be able to realize her lifelong dream of becoming a medical doctor, underscoring their support for her academic pursuits.
In the wake of the release of UTME results, social media platforms, particularly X, have been flooded with posts showcasing the achievements of candidates who excelled in the examination. The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) reported that a significant number of candidates, totaling 1,402,490 out of 1,842,464, failed to attain a score of 200 out of 400 marks.
Among the success stories shared on social media is that of Toro Shehu, the daughter of a lecturer at Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Kaduna State, who scored an impressive 348 out of a total of 400 marks.
