In a significant political move, Sir Felix Oranye, a prominent stakeholder from the Urum community in Awka North Local Government Area, has officially joined the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), bringing along more than 100 of his supporters. This public declaration took place at the Akitinyi village square in Urum.

The event was attended by several high-ranking officials, including Honourable Chimezie Ikwunne, the member representing Awka North in the Anambra State House of Assembly, APGA’s Chairmanship candidate for Awka North, Mr. Thankgod Anago, Anambra State Party Secretary Sir Levi Obiaduo, and Mr. James Onwuka, the APGA Chairman for Awka North LGA. Party stakeholders and members from across Urum were also present.

Sir Felix, after being officially inducted and decorated in the party’s regalia, noted that while he has long supported APGA, he decided to become an active member in recognition of the remarkable achievements of Governor Chukwuma Soludo. He emphasized that Awka North has never benefited as much as it has under the APGA government, and lauded Governor Soludo’s leadership for delivering on campaign promises.

As the local government elections approach, Sir Felix urged his community to support APGA candidates, expressing confidence in the continued development of Urum and other regions under the party’s leadership.

APGA’s Awka North Chairman, Mr. Onwuka, praised the Soludo administration for its developmental strides in Awka North, attributing growing party support to the governor’s effective governance. He predicted a landslide victory for APGA in the upcoming election, bolstered by the backing of influential figures like Sir Felix.

The event concluded with the decoration of Sir Felix and his supporters in APGA attire, symbolizing their formal induction into the party.
