Controversial social critic Verydarkman has revealed that N78 million of the N180 million allegedly stolen from his NGO’s account has been recovered. This update follows his alarming Instagram post on Friday, where he reported the hacking of his organization’s account and the missing funds.
While his initial claims raised doubts, with many questioning their authenticity, Verydarkman expressed gratitude in a follow-up post on Sunday, thanking those who reached out in support and sharing the progress of the investigation.
“Thanks to the people who called to check up on me. I also want to thank God for the process so far: we have been able to recover N78m, even though the suspect pointed out that the person he did this with has run to Ghana. So, hopefully, we will be going to Ghana very soon,” he stated.
The investigation into the theft is ongoing, with the NGO’s team hopeful for further recovery.
