Victor Boniface: Super Eagles Will Face Criticism Regardless of Coach

Bayer Leverkusen striker Victor Boniface has stated that supporters will always criticize the Super Eagles, regardless of who is in charge. This comes amid ongoing debate over the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF)’s failure to appoint a permanent head coach since Finidi George’s departure in June.

In an interview with Football Fans Tribe, Boniface addressed the issue of whether the team should be managed by a local or expatriate coach. He remarked, “The truth is even if we bring in Guardiola, Nigerians will still have something to say. I don’t care about what people think because they’re not here with the team.”

Boniface emphasized that the team’s focus should be on giving their best performance on the pitch, despite the inevitable criticism. “Our job is to give it all on the pitch. People will always criticize, no matter which coach you bring,” he added.
