Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen, has participated in his first training session with Galatasaray following his recent transfer to the Turkish club. The 25-year-old barely had time to settle in Istanbul before heading to Nigeria for international duty in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
During the qualifiers, Osimhen made two substitute appearances, scoring a goal in Nigeria’s 3-0 win over Benin Republic but failing to find the net in a goalless draw against Rwanda.
On Thursday, Osimhen was spotted engaging in warm-ups and training drills with his new Galatasaray teammates. It is yet to be confirmed if he will make an appearance in Galatasaray’s upcoming match against Rizespor on Saturday.
