Nigerian music sensations Wizkid, Burna Boy, and Tems have earned nominations at the prestigious 2025 NAACP Image Awards. Joining them is Nigerian-American actress Ayo Edebiri, who secured multiple nods.
The 56th edition of the awards is set to take place on February 22 at the Pasadena Civic Centre, California.
Wizkid received two nominations for his song *”Piece of My Heart”* featuring Brent Faiyaz in the categories of **Outstanding Duo or Collaboration** and **Outstanding International Song**.
Burna Boy and Usher earned a nomination for **Best Collaboration** with their track *”Coming Home”*. Tems was nominated in the **Outstanding International Song** category for her hit *”Love Me JeJe”*.
Actress Ayo Edebiri received five nominations, including **Outstanding Voiceover Performance** and **Outstanding Actress in a Comedy Series**.
In addition, South African artist Tyla was nominated for **Outstanding New Artist**, further highlighting African talents’ impact on the global stage.
The NAACP Image Awards continue to celebrate outstanding achievements in the arts, with this year’s event promising a vibrant showcase of diverse talents.
