Wizkid’s first son, Boluwatife Ayodeji Balogun, popularly known as Tife Balogun, has stirred excitement on social media after sharing a teaser of what appears to be his debut single.
The 14-year-old posted a short video on his Instagram page on Sunday with the caption: “Champion’s Arrival videographer, DIKASTUDIOS, producer iamhosana_.” The clip, which has attracted over 30,900 likes and more than 1,000 comments, features Tife performing a confident rap verse that has drawn praise from fans and music lovers.
In the video, Tife delivers lines that many described as bold and self-assured, saying, “Shoutout to the OGs in the game, but it’s time to pass on the baton,” and “I’ve got zero competition.” The young artiste, who is the son of Wizkid and his former partner, Shola Ogudu, showcased a strong stage presence and lyrical confidence that have fueled comparisons to his father.
The clip quickly went viral across social media platforms, with users on X (formerly Twitter) and Instagram commending Tife’s delivery and confidence. Some fans suggested that he could be following in Wizkid’s musical footsteps.
