The Wife of the Governor of Anambra State, Mrs Nonye Soludo has stated that women occupy significant space in the rebuilding model of the present administration led by her husband, Professor Chukwuma Soludo.
Mrs Soludo, who stated this while addressing a women group in Awka, explained that before his election into office on November 6, 2021, Professor Soludo had always noted that his administration would incorporate women into key decision-making arms.
She stated that with women occupying key positions in Anambra State, Governor Soludo has taken strong first step in fulfilling his manifesto.
Mrs Soludo also noted that her husband is a man who believes in productivity and appreciates hard work and merit, without attaching ethnic, gender, religious, social or political sentiments, adding that each of the women in his administration is already blazing the trail in their respective jobs.
The governor’s wife also noted that the present administration’s prime attention to quality and accessible health care, with strong focus on primary health care delivery is another way of providing reliable medical services for women and children, especially those in rural areas.
