Zenith Bank has ushered in the festive season with the launch of its highly anticipated annual Christmas decorations along Ajose Adeogun Street and Roundabout in Victoria Island, Lagos. The official lighting ceremony, marking the 18th edition of the initiative, was performed by the Group Managing Director/Chief Executive of Zenith Bank Plc, Adaora Umeoji, on Saturday.
This festive transformation of Ajose Adeogun Street, which is home to the bank’s Corporate Headquarters, has become a renowned yuletide landmark. The elaborate decorations turn the street into a spectacular holiday wonderland, attracting visitors from far and wide, who come to admire the beautiful lights, take pictures, and enjoy the festive atmosphere.
In a statement shared with *The PUNCH*, Umeoji highlighted the significance of the event, noting, “Over the years, Zenith Bank has hosted this spectacular event, transforming the entire Ajose Adeogun Street into a breathtaking yuletide wonderland. Our beautiful and elaborate Christmas decorations have become a centre of attraction and are shared on social media platforms globally.”
She expressed gratitude for the support of the Lagos State Government in creating an enabling environment for the event and praised Quantum Markets, the company responsible for the annual decorations, for their creative and innovative contributions to the project.
Umeoji also urged the public to embrace the true spirit of Christmas, emphasizing values like love, kindness, generosity, and respect for humanity.
