Following the alarm raised by the Governor of Anambra State, Professor Chukwuma Soludo on the fast developing gully erosion around Anambra airport junction, Nteje, the I-Witness Media office can confirm that Reynolds Construction Company (RCC) have moved to site and have arrested the situation.
Recall, the Governor had on Monday, October 21, 2024 called the attention of the Federal Government of Nigeria through the Federal Ministry of Works, the company handling the abandoned road project, RCC and MTN on the urgent need to stop the ravaging gully erosion and forestall cutting off access to the airport and the federal highways.
Thankfully, the company is back on site and are presently managing the situation.
